I think we have it wrong that we think too much of ourselves that causes most suffering, but that we don't think highly enough of ourselves! I think that in most cases it's low self esteem and lack of self love that lies beneath egocentricity, and narcisism.
Have you not noticed that so many of those who self-proclaim egolessness are arrogant, self-righteous, prideful, and exude superiority? Does that not suggest that many use this as way to puff up a sense of inferiority and lacking self esteem?
Could we actually heal narcissism and egocentricity and self centeredness and all of the things that negationary paths seek to free us from, not by getting rid of the ego and anything personal but adding in self-compassion unity and interconnection which is both humbling and empowering - a new kind of power with collective - centric aspirations.
the wounded ego's crusade against itself in which any triumph is a tragic one.
The fact that it's been taken up by so many is a testament to our collective psycho-spiritual crisis. A testament to how wounded we are, how much we turn our frustration towards life against ourselves rather than learning how to open our hearts to ourselves and others and learn to communicate in a healthy way, to empower ourselves to extricate ourselves from emotionally damaging relationships and unfulfilling life situations (when possible) rather than turn our hopeless and helplessness into self-blame, shame, and trying to throw the baby out with the bathwater of being human.
it's just self-flagulation, sadly.
Neo & nonduality- emergency - psychospiritual transformation - meeting the collective spiritual crisis of meaning with a lived evolutionary nondual paradigm like unividualism
There’s no place for things like shame and denigration, shaming the ashamed, prompted by a path - we have enough of that already - it’s beneath our egocentric complexes as well.
It’s not separateness we need to destroy, for that destruction leads to equal suffering, we need to add in the unity and oneness that is already here, to complete our reality as unividuals - to bring back wholeness that heals, unifies - unifies separateness and oneness - inspires responsibility through our viscerally shared humanity, and unconditional meaning derived from sensing the significance of each thing, each moment of bittersweet life simply because it exists at all! This is reverence to realness.
