Neo-Advaita gaslit me into seeing self-expression as nothing but the ego's self-centered need to feel special and important, and in the emptiness trap I fell into, this felt like truth. On my recovery path, one of the ways I've channeled the profound depths of despair and anguish of soul loss, is through music. The only reason for sharing these songs is in hopes of conveying something of the emotional pain and cathartic moments along this path of "coming down the mountain" and returning from self-effacement to the land of the living.
I don't share these because of any great musicianship, I just hope that something of the emotions that were channeled into these songs comes through.
I channeled the emotional pain of recovering from the tragedy of Neo-Advaita, and the catharsis of discovering the transcendent right here within the material world. divine immanence, into music. and once in awhile, a bit of dry humor. I'm no musician, just hoping the feelings come across!
